Must Do’s for August: Cleveland Edition

10 Aug

Summer is flying by and before we know it leaves will be falling from the trees. We know that Cleveland’s Fall weather is unpredictable and once it hits we will be wishing that we did all those fun outdoor or even indoor activities before we have to put on our fall jacket and boots! So here are 6 suggestions for the month of August in Cleveland.

  1. Edgewater Live at Edgewater park. Every Thursday night until August 11 they have a Happy Hour concert live. Bring your friends, have a drink, and a good time. http://www.clevelandmetroparks.com/Main/EventsProgramsCalendar/Edgewater-LIVE-2016-9068.aspx
  2. Cleveland Metroparks Zoo has a new Tiger  Passage. Take the day off and bring the kids for a fun day at the Zoo! http://www.clevelandmetroparks.com/Zoo/Whats-New1.aspx
  3. Go downtown for the Rock Hall’s Wednesday Evening Summer in the City series from June 29-August 24. https://www.rockhall.com/summer-city-lottery-league-showcase
  4. Go to a Cleveland Indians baseball game. Bring your friends or family, grab some peanuts and root for the home team!
  5. Explore The Flats whether it’s lunch during the day or at night for a drink there is always something to do.
  6. Want a great view of Cleveland? Try kayaking through Lake Erie. Fun in the sun with a great view! What’s better than that? http://www.thisiscleveland.com/articles/view/see-cleveland-from-a-kayak/745/
